Established in 2012, The Admin Awards has experienced tremendous success and rapid growth in the Dallas and Fort Worth markets, and is expanding across the US through an Admin Awards national rollout. The Admin Awards Program Manager position is an exciting sales opportunity to be a part of an exciting, fast-paced entrepreneurial organization at ground level, and will be responsible for generating sponsorship revenue, supporting awareness and nomination goals, and establishing important business partnerships on behalf of two program markets, which you will be instrumental in growing or launching.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, highly skilled sales person. This position currently reports to the Founder.

Core Objectives of The Admin Awards Program Manager Position Are:

  • Utilize creative and traditional outreach to drive sponsorship revenue growth
  • Research and develop a list of potential sponsors
  • Meet or exceed sponsorship revenue goals by targeting local, regional and national business decision makers that desire a C-level audience and/or their administrative counterparts
  • Maintain deep relationships with existing and potential sponsors and strategic partners
  • Maintain extremely high levels of service toward all sponsors, program participants and strategic partners
  • Manage contract process with sponsors
  • Ensure that all sponsor deliverables are being met proactively and conduct ongoing communications about level of satisfaction in the program
  • Support nomination goals in all 9 award categories among the local business community that benefits from the hard work of administrative professionals
  • Support the establishment of the local advisory board, board of judges and other key participants of The Admin Awards program
  • Presentation of The Admin Awards to trade and business organizations to both large and small audiences
  • Organization and co-facilitation of monthly advisory board meetings and judges meetings
  • Identify and scope local award program venues and collaborate with headquarters staff including the Marketing & Events Program Manager and Coordinator supporting the local market

Responsibilities to Meet these Core Objectives Include:

  • Deliver the Wow in all that you do while representing The Admin Awards organization to potential sponsors, nominees, nominators, event partners, etc. by anticipating needs and exceeding expectations
  • Effectively and passionately communicate the benefits of The Admin Awards program to all constituents including sponsors, nominees, nominators, event partners, advisory board members and judges
  • Create, develop and track a prospect list of all potential sponsors, understanding WHY they should sponsor the program from a marketing perspective
  • Effective tracking of all sales activity in the CRM
  • Effectively present The Admin Awards program to potential sponsors in a consultative, marketing savvy way that helps the target understand how they would achieve their marketing objectives through this unique program
  • Dynamically present the program to larger audiences which includes trade and business organizations to get people excited about the program and participating in some way
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of potential sponsors to support the program’s revenue goals and report pipeline activity regularly to the CEO
  • Acquire new sponsors, retaining those sponsors and ensure that we are meeting or exceeding their expectations
  • Anticipate potential revenue shortfalls proactively and create a plan to address prior to the event close
  • Update the local market’s budget that tracks sponsorship revenue and event related expenses and report status regularly to the Director of Sales
  • Create and execute contracts for all participating sponsors ensuring flawless communication and follow through of all sponsorship benefits and expectations
  • Build and manage the creation of a database of executives to target for generating Admin Awards nominations and achieving nominations goals
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure that the program is generating the appropriate number of nominations against each of the award categories and report updates regularly to the CEO and create a plan if anticipating shortfalls in any award category to overcome
  • Establish advisory board participants, meeting location, monthly agenda and create the PowerPoint presentation to support
  • Liaise with the market’s Marketing & Events Manager to communicate and coordinate all aspects of the program progress including sponsor partners to ensure that all logos are reflected on program marketing collateral, printed ads and online as promised
  • Determine awards venue, ensuring venue is capable of meeting all event requirements, negotiate and execute contract with the support of the market’s Marketing & Events Manager
  • Identify prize donors and execute all contracts, collect logos and write prize descriptions
  • Identify and regularly communicate with board of judges and coordinate the preparation of all judges packets, collection of results, coordination and execution of judges luncheon with the market’s Marketing & Events Manager
  • Coordinate, manage and execute all AA related internal and external meetings with coworkers, sponsors, AV partners, judges, board members etc.
  • Contributing expertise and vision to strategy, marketing and business development meetings
  • Encourage, share knowledge and best practices, support fellow program directors in other markets
  • Impeccable follow up and follow through in all phases of the program

  • Proven track record of 5 + years of experience in business to business sales preferably selling sponsorships, advertising or marketing products or services
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred by not necessary for uniquely qualified candidates
  • Love serving others
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating and managing highly organized and productive meetings
  • Advanced skills in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • This position requires 15-20% travel to the secondary market
  • A flexible schedule is required to support meetings and events which may occur outside normal business hours such as nights and weekends for scheduled events
