What’s the Nominee, Finalist and Winner’s Experience Like at the Admin Awards? We can’t wait to tell you about it.
Nominee Notification:
The first step in the Nominee’s journey is, of course, learning that they’ve been nominated in one (or more) of the nine Admin Awards categories. After a nomination is submitted, the Nominee will receive an email notification with the exciting news that they’ve been nominated and by whom. In this notification process, they receive social media banners they can share to announce their nomination. Nominators also receive a link to announce to the world that they’ve proudly nominated their awesome Admin. While Nominees won’t see the contents of the nomination itself (unless their Nominator chooses to share that with them), being notified that they have been nominated is an incredibly exciting and emotional experience for them – but it’s only the beginning!
Cheers to Nominees Cocktail Reception:
After Nominations have closed and before Finalists are announced, the Admin Awards hosts a complimentary Cocktail reception that kicks off the competition and serves as a celebration of ALL program Nominees. Guests enjoy drinks, hors devours, and fun activities as well as the chance to mingle with other professionals involved in the program. Nominees are welcome to bring a guest of their choosing and are encouraged to bring their Supervisors and other Nominators. The link to RSVP is included in the initial notification and in several other dedicated emails following to ensure that no nominees miss their chance to join the fun!
Finalist Notification Week:
About a week after the Cheers to Nominees Cocktail Reception Finalists are announced via email and are posted on our Site. In some markets, Finalist notifications may happen in-person by the Admin Awards Finalist Notification Street Team of Sponsors, Board Members and other Volunteers. Companies with Finalists often announce the big news in press releases, on social media, and in company-wide communications.
Finalists and winners are determined by our independent board of Judges in each market and no member of the Admin Awards staff, Advisory Boards nor Sponsors participate in the judging process as we adhere to a strict separation of “Church and State” which ensures only those deserving of unique recognition advance as Finalists and Winners.
The Awards Dinner Gala:
After Finalists are announced, companies prepare to rally around their Finalist(s) by planning their attendance in support of their extraordinary Admin(s) at the Awards Gala which is where the nine award Winners are announced. Tickets and table sponsorships are available for The Admin Awards “Good as Gold” Dinner Gala, becoming nationally known as the Academy Awards for Admins.
While the Admin Awards is an elite competition for sure, at its heart it’s also a celebration of every Administrative Professional that walks through our doors. From the moment they arrive, Finalists and all attending Admins are given the VIP, red-carpet experience (literally, there’s a red-carpet just for Admins!). Without spoiling too much, let’s just say it’s a night filled with AMAZING prizes, photo ops, great food, and most importantly recognition for the ones who deserve it most within their organizations: Administrative Professionals.
Winning an Admin Award:
Winning an Admin Award has been regarded by our community of extraordinary Winners as the “hallmark” and “pinnacle” of a successful Administrative career. Each Winner receives a one-of-a kind hand-blown glass award, is honored among an audience of 350-650 attendees and celebrated for weeks and months to come by their coworkers and entire companies. Nine individual award Winners advance in each of the nine award categories in each program city and one Company award Winner takes home the coveted Founders Award for creating an exceptional and progressive work environment for Administrative Professionals.
